The High Weyr
High Weyrwoman - all her knots are pure white except that of her dragon (which is either gold or red), a simple gold chain; a medals necklace (awards and such are put here)High Weyrleader - all his knots are pure white except that of his dragon; a medals necklace (Awards and such are put here)
Wingleader - all these knots are two bands of white with a thread of their dragons color
Wingsecond - all these knots are two bands of white with two threads of their dragons color
Wingthird - all theise knots are two bands of white with three threads of their dragons color
Wingrider - These knots are purely that of their dragons color
Watchdragon - a band of black, a band of white and a band of their dragons color

Imperial Army
General - five silver knots on left side of hip
Colonel - four silver knots on left side of hip
Liuetenant - three silver knots on left side of hip
Sargenat - two silver knots on left side of hip
Private - one silver knot on left side of hip

A band of color of the following
black - recon/intel
red - crimson guard (shock troops)
white - serving as a bodyguard (orders exempt from chain of command, they take orders from who ever they are guarding)

The High Guard
The Emperor's personal guard, they are above the normal law and make sure that everyone follows his commands.
