~Morning after hatching, on board Eberon in Orbit of Pern~ M'rin smiled as he looked at his dragon, today was it they were going to be teaching the weyrlings the finer points of the care for their dragon partners. They were first going to exercise and stretch he would not allow them to fall into bad shape due to lack of healthy exercise. M'rin grinned as he looked at him with a smile, he was sure of himself at that moment but he needed to talk to his dragon Herath. Herath wake the Weyrlings it is time. M'rin commented softly to Herath as he looked at the Steel who turned slowly whirling eyes on his rider. With a sigh the dragon bespoke the Queen that was still there, he was frustrated that was for sure WEYRLINGS LESSON! NOW![/b] Herath bellowed as he called to them all he hoped that all twenty would show up, it was going to be a very long morning the Steel could just tell. It was then that the Female ridden brown and His showed up.
As soon as the rest of the class showed up M'rin smiled warmly at the class and spoke to them all with a warm voice. "Today class you will run! We will first start with exercises that will stertch your muscles as well as those of your dragonets. Please those of you who ride Black Stripe convince your dragonets that I am to be obeyed or I will have Herath convince them." M'rin knew how to deal with Black Stripes and their riders, that K'lor would need watching. He was a Warrior Caste born so he would need some patience in training he was going to take forever to train but M'rin could teach him.

Tavia Tavia was not sure what to think of this whole 'lessons' thing. The girl had never had a lesson in her life. Not a real lesson, where she was allowed to learn things! After all, she was only a mere female, and females weren't worth wasting knowledge on, because their minds simply couldn't handle it. The only lessons that should be given to women was about proper, ladylike things. ...Or that was what she'd been told up until about a Sevenday ago. Now her world had been flipped totally upside down and she still hadn't figured out quite what to make of it.
Aerynth was determined that she should Come, we must go to lessons, the Gold said coolly, with a toss of her head. Somehow everything she did managed to be graceful. Tavia had no idea how she managed it, but she envied her. "I know," she murmured, "I'm going..." She paused to brush her mousy brown hair, because Aerynth would never forgive her if she went out looking like a servant in the company of a Gold...though admittedly it was hard for the plain girl to look like anything else.
Good. Then go faster. We mustn't be late, of course. "Of course." Part of her was excited. She was going to be learning real things! That was worth putting up with looking like a naive idiot, wasn't it? It was what she kept telling herslef, even if Aerynth kept pointing out that she was not an idiot of any sort, or she would not have deigned her worthy of her (not so humble) self. "Good day, sir," she murmured with a dipped curtsey to the Steel rider as she arrived, even as Aerynth eyed the older dragon haughtily.
You do not need to curtsey to him--you are his superior! Be that as it may, Tavia didn't want to offend anybody, so she refrained from commenting. Running? The slightly plump girl blanched. Oh dear...Now she was going to prove just how terribly suited for all of this she was! She'd be huffing and puffing by the end of the first lap! No you won't snapped Aerynth. Because you are Mine and you are worthy. She still doubted it, but obediently, dubiously, began to copy his stretches. Shards and shells I hope I don't do this wrong...

I'azus, too, was excited about lessons, but for a rather different reason than the young Goldrider. He was excited because he had been finding himself growing more and more bored, and the prospect of lessons was an absolutely thrilling something to do. Something new, no less. That made it even better. He couldn't quite imagine, though, what it would entail. All he'd done that was remotely similar was train his canine, and that had been Turns ago...and he doubted that dragons required similar treatment. For one thing, they were a lot more intelligent. For another...they were built a lot differently, and fulfilled a much different role in life.
It wasn't like he'd be teaching Aberienth to fetch. What is fetch? inquired the Rainbow curiously as the pair made their way down to the room where Lessons were to occur. Is it a game? I like games! "Of a sort," he admitted. "But I don't think you'd find it very exciting, darling. It involves chasing after a ball." Do you do anything with the ball? "Er...you bring it back...and then I throw it again...
She paused to consider this, then tossed her head dismissively. I should try it! "If you insist," said her rider dubiously, with a brilliant grin for the Weyrling Master and a flourishing bow. "G'day, sir! It is my pleasure to meet you! I'azus and Aberienth reporting for...er...learning?" Yeah, something like that. At the idea of running, he perked up. Now that was something that I'azus knew how to do! Stretches were boring but necessary, and he wasn't stupid. "C'mon, Abi," he said, moving aside to start following instructions. The rainbow, curiously, tried to mimic her rider's movements.

V'na, we have to go now, we have a lesson, Omuntoth said patiently, teeth carefully taking hold of the fabric at the man's elbow. V'na made a small noice in the back of his throat, eyes not straying from the pad in the slightest. he wasn't drawing anything in front of him, he was trying to finish the large sketch of the Blood. Only a bust, small in size, on canvas. He could paint it in oils when he got back, since he only had pencils with him here, and they were not suitable for colouring on canvas - V'na. The Brass didn't even have to shout. He understood enough that his rider was focussing so hard on drawing so that he wouldn't have to remember where he was, that was fine. But did he have to ignore him? That was going a little too far.
The boy hissed slightly, flinching away from the dragon as though burnt before the Brass began nudging him to his feet. Steel Herath calls, and we're going to be late, that won't do. Now come on, we've got work to do. Omuntoth was quite happy with this arangement. HIs rider obviously wasn't well equiped enough to care for himself aboard a ship such as this, so he was happy to do it for him. After all, he was there to care for him after all. Even if V'na didn't exactly appreciate it most of the time. With sharp, hurried movements V'na slipped the pencil behind his ear and gathered the loose sketches he'd strewn around him, tucking them away safely as he stumbled ahead of the dragon.
What an odd pair they made. The over-confident Brass walking beside the slouched man. Neither looked like they suited the other. The latter had woken early simply because he'd forced himself to, overly stressed and thinking far too much, he'd tried to grab his things and go to finish his sketch without the Brass (because when the Brass woke up he'd want to be fed) but, of course, Omuntoth wasn't having that. The Brass was too afraid that he'd go and get himself hurt somehow. So they'd gotten up, gone to the kitchens, fed the beast and then found a random corridor to settle down in. In that time he'd not truly gotten ready. Soft leather boots, loose shirt, loose trousers...Everything hung off him.
V'na sumtlbed into the room, while Omuntoth strode. The rider paused, swallowing slightly. Steel was ranked, what? Brown? Brass was around Blue, as far as he knew. He bowed stiffly, mumbling some sort of greeting while his dragon bent a leg slightly to copy, head bowing towards the older dragon before he caught sight of the Gold. Aerynth, it is a pleasure to finally meet a creature as fine and noble as you properly, he said smoothly, bowing his head just as low - if not lower - to her as he had to their mentor. But, alas, I am not worthy enough to oppose on you for any longer. I wish you and your bonded a good day and a good lesson. V'na choked slightly before bowing just as stiffly to Tavia as he had to M'rin, slightly lower as Omuntoth turned and hit his leg with his tail.
Don't act so stiff! You'll make her think she's done something wrong, Omuntoth sighed, leaning into his riders legs as the man did the job of listening to the Weyrling Master once the others had arrived. 'I don't care,' V'na hissed in his mind, 'I don't like this.' I'm sure she doesn't either. Whether or not she liked running, either, neither of them knew. Running? He wasn't exactly made for running. Sure, he had long legs, but he wasn't exactly what you'd call fit. Time to change that, it seems. They both began to the stretches at the same time, V'na only pausing to throw his sketch book into the corner, having forgot the pencil behind his ear.

~Weyrling Z'an of Black Stripe Green Inorith~ There are lessons where we will learn to work together come Z'an we must go.[/b] Inorith told the boy as she began walking towards the lessons. It was hard for him to keep up with her changing moods she was almost bipolar. She could be sweet and kind one moment then evil and sadistic the next it confused Z'an to the greatest extent however he sighed and looked at the Black Stripe Green leading the way to the lesson.
When he arrived to see the other Weyrlings he gulped how would she act today? However she simply walked up to Aerynth and very politely asked. How are you today sister?[/b] Inorith was being good and she knew it and she wanted to confuse her bonded it was fun! However he addressed the Weyrling master. "I will do my best sir." He told him after hearing his orders about making Inorith obey.

~Weyrling D'mian of Blue Rygeth~ D'mian and Rygeth however were already walking when they got the call to the lesson they headed there and saw that there were other weyrlings already present! Rygeth was hungry but D'mian could wait to tell the Weyrling Master after the lesson. He didn't know he had to feed Rygeth whenever he was hungry and not wait at all. However Rygeth was not going to wait he walked over to a bucket and stuck his nose in it. He was going to eat with or without D'mian's help!
D'mian went over and began helping Rygeth eat if he got in trouble oh well he was doing what was needed. He knew he had to help his dragon.

~Weyrling Maia of Green Dimeth~ Maia also was headed to the lesson she was headed there becasue she knew she needed to go, however Dimeth did not want to go in the least. They went though to make sure everyone else was going to their lessons Dimeth was very nosy so that would motivate the green to go anytime. Maia saw her brother and smiled at least they were here together, she and he had impressed at the same time that was something to be proud of. But she had impressed green and he blue that meant Rygeth migh try to chase Dimeth and that would be bad for Maia. She gulped as she looked down at her little Dimeth.
